Lelo’s Mona 2 is a versatile vibrator. It’s designed as a g-spot vibe, but the broad, bulbous tip works well for clitoral stimulation as well.
It’s also ergonomic and fairly luxurious – both in appearance and in sensation. Mona’s elegant curves are clad in silky soft silicone that transmit the power vibrations right where you want them – whether that’s internally on the g-spot or externally on the clit.
One downside: the price tag reflects that luxury status, and there are vibrators that are *nearly* as good for significantly less. But if you’re after the best – the Mona 2 is hard to beat.
And like many Lelo vibes, it’s whisper quiet meaning it’s a great choice if you have roommates or live at home.

- Versatile: The Mona 2 is designed for G-spot vibrations but works well externally on the clit too.
- Shhhhhh: Lelo makes some incredibly quiet vibes, and Mona is no exception.
- 6 Modes: combined with variable intensity for each mode = limitless options
- Curvy: adds great sensations for penetration and even allows for a hands-free experience once inserted
- Ergonomic: vibrations are strongest in the tip and hard to feel in the handle which makes it comfortable for long sessions. the curved shape is also comfortable for applying pressure.
- Price tag - Mona isn't cheap at $170, and there are vibrators that are almost as good for less
- A bit buzzy - Mona is fairly rumbly, but we didn't like the vibrations *quite* as much as some other top-end vibes

Designed for Hitting the G-Spot
The first thing you’ll notice about Mona is her curvaceous body.
At around 4.5 inches insertable and 1.5 inches max girth, it’s a good all-around size for internal use; 1.5 inches is probably the most common width for a penetrating toy as it’s large enough to provide some fullness and a mild stretch, but not so big as to be uncomfortable or inaccessible for most users.
The vibrating motor is housed in the bulbous head, which puts the vibrations right where you want them. They transmit nicely through the pointed tip, which is great for pinpointing the G-spot.
The thinner neck provides some additional stimulation for in-and-out motions. We like this curved shape for the feeling when it ‘pops’ into place. You can even insert Mona and leave it to rumble inside of you, freeing up your hands to do… other things.
The shape (reminiscent of the Pure Wand) also means you can use it without even turning the power on, and get a good ol’ fashioned g-spot orgasm on purely manual motions. This is great because it allows to get in touch with your anatomy in a way that some really powerful vibrators don’t allow for.
Just make sure you’re warmed up first – if you’re not used to toys of this thickness it will take some getting used to. In fact, one of the most common 3rd party complaints about the Mona 2 is that it’s too big (we disagree).
As we mentioned above, Mona is fairly standard sized as far as dildos or vibes go, but if you’re relatively new to penetrating toys or have a hard time fully relaxing, keep in mind the curvy shape may be a bit much to take in initially.
Just be sure to use plenty of water-based lube and go at your own pace and you’ll have a great time!
A Versatile General Use Vibrator
One of the best things about the Mona 2 is that it can also be used as an external clitoral vibrator fairly easily. It’s not as rumbly as something like the Tango, but it’s a good blend of rumbly and buzzy and more than powerful enough to get the job done.
The flat backside of the g-spot bulb allows for broad pressure on your clit, meaning you also get some good stimulation in the surrounding labia and deeper clitoral bulbs. It’s a bit buzzier than we personally like in this regard, especially at higher vibration settings, but the silicone exterior feels great overall.
If you want a strictly G-spot vibe Lelo also makes the Gigi (for $30 less), but part of what we like about Mona is that she’s so adaptable for clit use, where Gigi feels a bit more awkward.
Speaking of power, there are 6 different modes:
- Steady vibration
- Slow, steady pulses
- Faster rhythmic pulses
- Increasing from low to high vibrations
- “The hill climb” where it steadily increases to max, back down to low, and then starts over
- Random selection
You can also increase or decrease the power independent of the mode (each mode has it’s own intensity settings). Keep in mind – you tap the side buttons once to scroll through modes, but you need to hold down the up/down buttons to scale intensity.
We love the flexibility offered – between 6 modes and the sliding intensity it’s an incredible versatile vibrator, and there’s sure to be something for everybody. We don’t generally use the pre-programmed cycles and prefer to change the intensity via manual pressure – but modes 4 and 5 with the escalating intensity are pretty good.

Lelo Mona 2: Final Review
There’s a lot to love about Mona. She’s quiet, she’s powerful, and she’s curvaceous in all the right ways. She isn’t cheap though; Mona is a luxury gal through-and-through.
That said, we found this g-spot vibrator to be the best of the best, and fantastically easy to use for both internal and external pleasure. Great for solo play, foreplay, or even during sex as a clit stimulator (or double penetrator).
There’s no shortage of ways to use the Mona 2 for incredible orgasms, and we really can’t recommend it enough.
