- Great for pegging: the rippled shaft, bulbed head, harness-compatible bases, and optional bullet vibe means this is the total package for pegging.
- Firm or soft: choose your silicone density. Firm allows you to feel each rippled bulb better, but the supersoft version feels silky smooth no matter how you choose to use it.
- Suction cup & vibe optional: you can use a suction cup addon in lieu of the bullet vibe for some hands-free fun.
- Only available in one size - no large or XL versions for the experienced players out there.
- Limited color options compared to some other dildos on this list.
- The supersoft version can be quite floppy and hard to get in place, especially for anal play.

Ribbed for your pleasure
The Tantus Echo got its name because each bump ‘echoes’ the prior one.
Each of the five bumps are 1.55 inches in diameter, with a shaft that’s roughly 1.35 inches. Meaning it provides some amazing sensations as it slides in and out of your pussy (or ass).
Perhaps one of the only downsides to the Echo is it’s only available in one-size, meaning there’s no smaller beginner option or bigger advanced option available. We’d love to see this exact same shape available in a 1.8″ – 2″ girth on the widest point of the ribs.
The shaft is slightly curved, which, when combined with the bulbous head, also makes it great for g-spot or prostate stimulation.
The Echo is available in Tantus’ medium-soft silicone, or in extra squishy supersoft silicone. We’re normally a fan of supersoft silicone because it feels more realistic, and also has more give to allow you to comfortably take in the toy. But in this case, we actually prefer the firmer blend.
Why?
Because the firmer silicone lets you really feel each individual bump as it slides in and out of place.
The supersoft version can also be quite floppy and thus less than ideal for anal penetration, as it can pop out of place during use.
This makes the Echo particularly exciting as an anal dildo, as the tightness of your ass can really feel each bulb ‘pop’ into place. It’s also great for learning to relax your ass over each rib, similar to anal beads only with a less extreme difference between shaft diameter and rib diameter.
Once you’ve warmed up, going fast and furious with the Echo also feels pretty great, although you do lose some of the sensations of feeling each individual rib. Though this is no fault of the Echo, this is just due to the physics involved.
Think of it like this:
If you’re driving your car over a speed bump, you feel the whole range of the bump when driving over it slowly. But if you hit a speed bump with any speed, your wheels kind of skim over the surface of the bump and you won’t feel the full range of the bump.
Note: please don’t do this in your actual vehicle; please drive responsibly.
A highly versatile and adaptable dildo
The Tantus Echo also has some great additional features that make it a very versatile sex toy and well-suited to a wide variety of situations.
First off: like 99% of Tantus dildos it’s harness compatible, meaning it’s great for strap on use. Most standard 1.5″ O-rings should do just fine.
There’s also a space in the base of the dildo for either a bullet vibe or a suction cup attachment.
Vibrations work particularly well with the rippled, ribbed texture as they further enhance the feeling of the individual ribs. We generally recommend the We-Vibe Tango for use with dildos like this, as the Tango’s rumbly vibrations will penetrate throughout the entire dildo and even reach the tip of the toy fairly well.
While there’s no built-in suction cup, you can also use a standard suction cup attachment in place of the bullet vibe for some fun hands-free play.
Even if you’re not using a suction cup or harness, the rounded base makes for a decent handle for some self-love thrusting.
There’s even a version of the echo with an extended handle for a more ergonomic grip and more vigorous thrusting (although that version isn’t harness, suction cup, or vibe compatible).

As we can attest to, the Tantus Echo is a great anal dildo, particularly for pegging and prostate play:
Tantus Echo: Final Review
We love the simplicity and variability offered by this ribbed dildo.
Echo is great with a strapon on harness, suction cup attachment, or even the variant with the extended handle. It’s great vaginally, although we think it excels as an anal dildo/beads hybrid toy.
We wish it came in a bigger size, and that the supersoft version wasn’t so floppy. But all in all it’s a great silicone dildo that’s sure to please no matter how you choose to use it.
